A lifestyle trip needs a different suitcase. Whether you’re heading to an Italian club privé for the weekend or to the foam parties of Cap d’Agde, pack smart and discreet and you’ll arrive ready for the fun — not scrambling once you’re there. Here’s the couple’s checklist.
Outfits & dress codes
This is the part to enjoy — just match it to where you’re going.
- For Italian clubs: most ask for elegant attire, and many run themed nights (fetish, lingerie, all-white). Pack a sharp outfit, lingerie you love, and clear heels (versatile and light). Bring a mask if there’s an Eyes Wide Shut–style masquerade.
- For Cap d’Agde: by day the Village Naturiste is nude or swimwear-optional, and the famous foam parties are clothing-free — so there’s nothing to pack for those. The wardrobe is for the evenings, when you can really dare: lingerie sets with heels, or very bold, barely-there outfits for the clubs.
Golden rule: check the dress code of each venue or event before you pack — the wrong outfit can mean being turned away.
Documents & cash
Often overlooked, essential in Italy:
- Photo ID — Italian clubs are private members’ associations; you sign up for a membership card on arrival and need ID.
- Some cash — not every club takes cards at the door, and at Cap d’Agde cash is handy in the village.
Toys, packed smart
Bring your favourites, but pack them well: compact, USB-rechargeable items in your checked luggage to avoid awkward security checks. Nothing illegal, ever.
